Lorenzo and Rossi present new Yamaha in Italy

Tuesday, 5 November 2013 MotoGP™ riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi were surprise guests at Italy’s EICMA bike show on Monday in order to present the new Yamaha MT-09 Street Rally bike on behalf of the Yamaha Motor Company.

Rossi promoted the new bike model through a video filmed at his now famous ranch, before he and Lorenzo closed the ceremony joined by Hiroyouki Yanagi, President of Yamaha Motor Company and BBC television presenter Suzi Perry.

Also presented was the first three-wheeled Yamaha bike, the concept model labelled Tricity, as well as the new X-MAX 125 and 250 machines, the latest version of the Sport Classic SR400 and the four-cylinder XJR1300 reinterpreted by the Deus Ex Machina Italia team as a vintage model named Deus Ex Machina ‘Eau Rouge’ XJR1300.
