Once in a Blue Moon opportunity for fans to be part of the Etihad Stadium's future.
Manchester City Football Club has today announced its plans to open a Seasoncard waiting list to eager fans wanting to be the first to guarantee their seat in an expanded Etihad Stadium.
Should the Club’s exciting plans receive planning approval, City’s home, which this year celebrates its 10th birthday, is set to be even more visually dramatic with potential new third tiers added behind the goals of the North and Sound stands.
Each level will boast approximately 6,750 new seats and will provide fans with the opportunity to purchase Seasoncards from as little as £299 - the lowest in the whole of the Barclays Premier League.
The capacity of the Etihad Stadium is currently around 47,500. The Club’s two proposed options are to undertake the expansion of the South stand alone (phase 1), to increase match day capacity to around 54,000, or to expand both the South and North Stands at the same time (phases 1 and 2), to increase match day capacity to circa 61,000.
