Nathaniel Chalobah completed the full 90 minutes as his Watford side were beaten at Leicester City in the first leg of their Championship play-off semi-final.
David Nugent scored the only goal of the game to give the Foxes a 1-0 lead over Gianfranco Zola's men going into the decisive second leg at Vicarage Road.
Chalobah, who scored a stunning goal on his last visit to the King Power Stadium, started alongside Jonathan Hogg in a defensive midfield role.
Watford had two good opportunities shortly before Leicester scored, with both Matej Vydra and Alexandre Geijo going close.
The second leg takes place on Sunday, kick-off 12.30pm.
