Tonight reigning Miss World Megan Young will witness first hand her first coronation of this year’s round of national competitions, where she will welcome in the new Miss Indonesia.

Currently in Jakarta, Megan was invited onto Buka Bukaan earlier today where she discussed her role as Miss World, as well as her enthusiasm for her first coronation of 2014.

“I’m so excited... It’s my first time to crown a Miss for this year.. We’ll be seeing (one of) them at the Miss World finals. You never know which one will be the next Miss World, so it’s very exciting to meet all the beautiful ladies.”

Megan was joined on Buka Bukaan by Miss Indonesia 2012 Inesh Putri, as well as Miss Indonesia Director Liliana Tanaja Tanoesoedibjo. Arriving in Jakarta earlier this Weekend, Megan also joined the cast of Miss Indonesia 2014 on the daytime show Dahsyat! Ahead of this evenings final.

Miss Indonesia 2014 starts tonight at 20:30 local time (13:30 GMT) with 34 finalists from across the archipelago challenging for the title. You can see this year’s competitors here.
